Ensure Your Wishes with a Will

Creating a Will is essential to ensure your wishes are honoured and your loved ones are protected after your passing. At LB Legacy Estate Services, we specialise in drafting clear, legally sound Wills tailored to your unique circumstances. Let us help you secure your legacy with confidence and peace of mind.

What is a Will?

A “Last Will and Testament” is a legal document that allows you (the testator) to give instructions to the people you trust (your executors) about how you would like the things you own (your estate) to be dealt with and distributed when you are no longer here.

In your Will, you can also give instructions about how you want your children to be cared for, and (optionally) your wishes around funeral arrangements and organ donation.

Many people think that if you die without a Will, your spouse / partner / family are entitled to everything you own. That isn’t the case, as your estate will be declared “intestate” and
distributed according to the rules of the Inheritance Act

Why Do I Need a Will?

To make sure your wishes are carried out - your spouse is not always entitled to all your estate, and if you aren’t married your partner isn’t entitled to anything at all.

How do you make sure your own children inherit? Or is there is someone you wouldn’t have wanted to inherit at all? And what about your business?

To protect your children - the only way to guarantee that someone of your choice cares for your children is to name them as Legal Guardians in your Will.

To ensure your property is protected – leaving a property directly to your partner can leave a risk of your children not inheriting if your partner
remarries or needs care.

HOW CAN WE HELP

A Service To suit Your Needs

Whilst we offer the option to make a Will online or “DIY”, we also offer a bespoke service, tailored to your needs. Depending on how you wish to deal with us. There are no online forms for you to fill in, as we believe chatting to you personally, at a time convenient to you, allows you time to discuss your wishes in detail.

We don’t add ourselves as Executor as we believe you should be free to choose who should undertake this important role.
We can store your Will for you (at a small annual cost) but we don’t make this a service you must use.

We provide a draft Will for you to review in your own time and ask further questions. Once you are happy, we send your final Will to you at home with detailed instructions on how to witness and sign – making the process efficient, and ensuring your Will is valid.

How Much Does it Cost?

Our service is very affordable as we believe finance shouldn’t stop you being protected.

Standard Will

A single will is £225, or for a couple it is £375

Will, including trusts for additional protection

A single will is between £300-£450, for a couple it is £525-£675
